Our Story
Aervan started with a simple observation: buying a portable cooling product is more confusing than it should be.
The problem we saw
Shoppers comparing "12,000 BTU" units discover too late that one number is an ASHRAE rating and another is the stricter DOE/SACC standard. Evaporative coolers get advertised as air conditioners and disappoint people in humid climates. Room-size claims ignore ceilings, sun and insulation. Window kits don't fit. Manuals go missing.
What we decided to do about it
Aervan exists to remove that confusion. We present both BTU standards side by side and explain the difference. We tell you honestly when a fan is the smarter buy — and when it isn't. We publish window-kit size ranges, hose lengths, drainage methods, and noise ranges, and we keep manuals and installation guides one click from every product page.
How we work
- Accuracy first: specifications come from manufacturer documentation, and we only publish claims we can support.
- Match, don't upsell: our product finder and room-size guide point you to what fits your space — which is often not the most expensive option.
- Design for calm: a clean, quiet store that respects your time, with no fake countdown timers or invented scarcity.
- Support that stays: installation help, maintenance guides and replacement parts for the long run.
Comfort, wherever you are — that's the goal. Thanks for being here.
