Aervan was created to make portable cooling easier to understand and easier to buy. Shopping for a portable air conditioner, cooler or fan online often means sorting through inconsistent capacity ratings, vague specifications and marketing language that doesn't reflect how a unit will actually perform in your space. We built Aervan to remove that friction — organizing specifications, installation requirements, room-size guidance, and the practical differences between cooling technologies so customers can select the right option for their space the first time, rather than guessing and returning.

Aervan is an independent reseller of portable cooling appliances, not the manufacturer. We curate models from established brands and have them shipped to you directly from the manufacturer's or supplier's regional warehouse.

What we do

We curate portable air conditioners, evaporative air coolers, tower and personal fans, and the accessories that help keep them operating — including window kits, exhaust hoses, drain hoses and replacement filters. Rather than listing every product on the market, we select models with clear, verifiable specifications and organize our catalog around how each product actually performs, not just how it looks.

Every product page presents the specifications that actually matter: real cooling capacity ratings (SACC/DOE alongside ASHRAE, so you can compare fairly across brands), recommended room sizes, noise ranges in decibels, electrical requirements, and exactly what's included in the box. Where a manufacturer's stated capacity and the standardized SACC/DOE rating differ, we aim to show both, because that difference is often the reason a unit under- or over-performs expectations.

Honest distinctions, not hype

A fan, an evaporative cooler and a compressor-based air conditioner do very different jobs, and conflating them is one of the most common — and most frustrating — mistakes in this category. We say so plainly. We never advertise an air cooler as an air conditioner, and we don't promise that any product "cools any room instantly" or "works everywhere," because neither claim is true of any cooling technology.

Instead, we give you the tools to make an informed comparison: side-by-side comparison tables, a guided product finder that asks about your room and climate before recommending a category, and a room-size guide that accounts for factors like ceiling height, sun exposure and insulation — variables that generic BTU charts usually ignore. Our goal is for you to understand what you're buying before checkout, not to discover it after installation.

Because portable cooling units depend on regular maintenance — filter changes, hose replacements, seasonal storage — we also keep compatible replacement accessories in stock, so a single worn part doesn't mean replacing the whole unit.
